Summer’s Here! 5 Perfect Summer Sideline Tips!
This is the time of year that the sun’s allure beacons you to play outside. The Kids are officially participating in summer football camp and you are finding yourself on the sidelines cheering them on!
Way to go football mom. Now what about you? Here are 5 perfect summer sideline tips.
1. Take weather into consideration
Most of the games are held in warmer weather. While selecting your game day outfit keep the temperature in mind. You can accomplish your warm weather look by wearing light clothing. A quick and effective tip is to wear a female cut V-neck t-shirt, a light shirt overlay paired with jean shorts or culotte pants (pants that stop slightly above the ankles). Accessorize your outfit with a baseball cap or hat with a brim to shade your face from direct sunlight. And, top the look off with colorful sun glasses. You can add up a touch of class in your outfit with a trendy light weight jacket.
If shorts and jeans are not your MO no worries there are various choices to dress up if you are attending a football game in hot weather. You can wear a dress paired with trendy sandals or even low top sneakers. This way you can effortlessly rock your chic look along with enjoying your favorite sport.
2. Keep your Look Casual
Every football enthusiast knows that preparing or dressing up for a football game is just as crucial as attending one. Therefore, plan your outfit but keep it casual. Another great way to show your team pride is to rock your child’s team name and logo tee. You can pair a tunic or leggings with a cool jersey and don’t forget the classy pair of sunglasses.
3. Opt for a Stylish Hairstyle
Hairstyle plays just as vital role in completing your look as your outfit does. Therefore, choose a trendy and eye-grasping hairstyle for the game day. Accessorize your hair using ribbons or head bands to add a spark in our look.
4. Protect Your Skin
Most youth camps are dead smack in the middle of the day when the sun is shining at its peak. Now is not the time to forget to take a few minutes out of your day to apply SPF sun block. Make sure you test a little on your skin before you apply to make sure you’re not allergic. SPF measures sunscreen protection from UVB rays that can cause sunburn. Nobody likes sunburns!
5. Stay Hydrated
Lastly, stay hydrated – H2O aka water of course is a must but if you have to have something sweet I recommend making fresh juice popsicles. Its super easy to make just blend your favorite smoothie, pour it into a popsicle mold and freeze it. Check out the recipe below for Yoga Glow Pops. If it melts, it’s all good because it started off as a smoothie.
